Complaints procedure

If something has gone wrong with a car you bought from us, or with our service, please tell us. We would much rather hear about it and try to put it right.

How to complain

Get in touch in whichever way suits you:

It helps if you include:

  • your name and the best way to contact you
  • the vehicle registration and roughly when you bought it (if it is about a car)
  • what has gone wrong and what you would like us to do
  • any photos, receipts or paperwork that help explain the problem

What happens next

  1. We will let you know we have received your complaint.
  2. We will look into it fairly and may ask you for more information, or to bring the car in so we can inspect it.
  3. We will explain what we have found and what we can do to put things right, and keep you updated if it takes longer.

If you are still unhappy

You can get free, impartial advice from Citizens Advice consumer service. You can also choose to take a claim to court, for example through the small claims process on GOV.UK.

Making a complaint does not affect your legal rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
