Cookie policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026

Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. Websites can also save information in your browser in other ways (such as “local storage”). This page explains what our website stores, and what is only used if you agree. You can change your choice at any time using the button at the bottom of this page.

Always on (needed for the site or features you use)

These do not need your consent:

Your cookie choice — remembers whether you clicked Accept or Reject (stored in your browser as ldt_cookie_consent). If you click Accept, we also set a cookie called ldt_consent so our server knows it may use the optional homepage picture cookie below.
Saved cars and compare list — the cars you choose to save or compare (stored in your browser as ldt_saved and ldt_compare).
Recently viewed cars — the last few cars you looked at, so we can show them again on this device (stored in your browser as ldt_recent). This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Spam protection — our enquiry and reservation forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check the form is being filled in by a person. It may store information in your browser for this security check.
Dealer dashboard — staff who log in to our dealer system get login and security cookies. These are not used for visitors to the public website.

Homepage picture (only if you click Accept)

Our homepage background shows a random stock car. If you click Accept, we also set a small first-party cookie called ldt_hero, which contains only the page name of the car you last saw (for example bmw-m135i), so the next load shows a different car. It is deleted when you close your browser, is not shared with anyone and is not used for tracking or analytics. If you click Reject, or change your mind later, we do not set it and remove it if it is there.

Optional (only if you click Accept)

Google Analytics — helps us understand how many people visit and which pages they use. It sets Google cookies (such as _ga) and is only loaded after you click Accept.
Google Maps — the map on our Find us page loads from Google, which may set its own cookies. It only loads when you click to show the map, or automatically if you have already clicked Accept.

If you click Reject, or do not choose, none of the optional items above are loaded. You can still browse cars, send enquiries and reserve a car.

Basic visit statistics (no cookies)

Our own server records simple page-view statistics: the page visited, the website you came from, your device type, and a visitor code made by hashing your browser details with a key that changes every day. We do not save a cookie for this and we do not store your IP address with it. The statistics are deleted after 13 months.

Links to other websites

If you follow a link to Google reviews, Google Maps, WhatsApp or another website, that website’s own cookie policy applies.
